This massive growth brought about the emergence of a new user profile, the majority of ordinary people not linked to the academic, scientific and government.

Gulf War
It was a war between Asian countries, Iraq and Kuwait, beginning in August 1990 with the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq,
In response to these events, the January 16, 1991 an international coalition of 31 countries led by the United States and under UN mandate, began a military campaign to force the invading army to retreat.
End of war, Iraqi representatives accepted allied terms for a provisional truce on March 3 and permanent ceasefire on 6 April. Iraq agreed to pay reparations to Kuwait, reveal the location and extent of its stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons and eliminate its weapons of mass destruction.

Yugoslav Wars
The Yugoslav Wars were a series of conflicts in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, that occurred between 1991 and 2001. Groups comprised two successive wars that affected the six former Yugoslav republics.
The wars were marked by ethnic conflict between the peoples of the former Yugoslavia, mostly between Serbs on one side and Croats, Bosnians and Albanians on the other
The Yugoslav wars ended with much of the former Yugoslavia reduced to poverty, massive economic disruption and persistent instability in the territories where the worst fighting occurred.
